All retail space at Brickell City Centre is now fully leased. (Posted Feb 2024)

Swire Properties announced to investors last week that all retail space at Brickell City Centre is now fully leased.

According to the report, some of the space at Brickell City Centre may be allocated to prospective tenants who have signed letters of intent.

This marks the first time in its history that the mall has reached full occupancy since its opening in 2016.

Even prior to reaching full occupancy, the mall has experienced increased activity, with retail sales rising by 12.9% in 2023 compared to the previous year, as reported by Swire.

Several significant developments are underway in the adjacent blocks, which are expected to further increase foot traffic in the area in the future.

Swire has not disclosed the identity of the new tenant for the vacant 3-story retail space at the west end of the mall, which has been empty since the closure of the Luna Park food and beverage concept.

The ownership of the shopping center is divided among Swire Properties (62.93%), Simon Property Group (25%), and Bal Harbour Shops (12.07%).
