Here are a few traits that I believe David embodies, and which make him so great at his job: David is diligent. David went above and beyond to turn over every leaf in this transaction and ensure that even though we had never seen the unit, we were intimately aware of the details and didn't miss anything. David is a great communicator. David was excellent about keeping us up to speed and communicating with the various parties involved. Without clear communication, of which David was the primary driver, this deal could never have closed. David is a great negotiator. On the business side, David was our representative in what turned out to be a very prolonged and complex negotiation with a highly difficult counterparty. Though we were lacking in leverage, David was still able to successfully navigate the transaction and get us to a good spot. David is a hard worker. I cannot imagine how much work David put into this deal beyond what we ever saw. He went absolutely above and beyond and made us feel like we were his only clients (even though this deal was probably on the lower end of the transaction values you guys represent). And finally, David is extremely polite and kind. No matter what industry you are in, we value nothing more than kindness and being a good person. David has no ego and is always trying to do the right thing for his clients. It is perhaps this quality about David that we value the most. We have told David that we hope to remain friends and work together in the future.
