April 2025: 41-Story Mixed-Use Tower Proposed Near Wynwood

Miami’s Urban Development Review Board will meet today to review plans for a 41-story tower proposed just north of Wynwood.

The project is being submitted under Florida’s Live Local Act, which allows developers to bypass certain zoning restrictions by designating a portion of the residential units as income-restricted.

According to the proposal, the high-rise would feature:

  • 234 residential units
  • Ground-floor retail and co-working space
  • 257 parking spaces

A representative for the developer described the project as “beautifully designed” and said it aims to foster “an active, pedestrian-friendly environment that encourages community interaction and engagement.”

In a letter of intent to the city, the developer emphasized that no zoning waivers are being requested, stating: “The applicant team has worked hard to eliminate all waiver requests. There are currently none included in this application.”

The development team includes Valle Valle and Partners as the project architect, with Ag Wyn LLC of Weston as the property owner. According to The Real Deal, the ownership group is controlled by a former Los Angeles Dodgers player.
