A recent photo reveals ongoing construction at the 70-story Okan Tower this week. Last week, a filing was submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration requesting an increase in crane heights at the construction site to 1,051 feet above ground.
The tower's final height is planned to reach 902 feet, positioning it as one of the tallest buildings south of New York. Okan Tower will feature a 316-key Hilton Miami Bayfront Hotel, 236 condo hotel units managed by Hilton, 163 Sky Residences, and 64,000 square feet of Class A office space.
The tower's design is said to be inspired by the elegant shape of tulips. In January, the developer reported that condo sales at Okan had already reached 60%.
