Global soccer icon Lionel Messi has reportedly entered into contract on multiple condominiums at Cipriani Residences Miami—the first-ever ground-up residential tower by the iconic Cipriani hospitality brand in the United States, according to news that broke earlier today.
Sources indicate that Messi’s purchase includes a residence within The Canaletto Collection, an exclusive grouping of just six penthouses and 68 ultra-luxury homes occupying the top 18 floors of the tower. Offering unparalleled privacy, sweeping 360-degree views of the Miami skyline and Biscayne Bay, and privileged access to the building’s private Cipriani speakeasy, the Canaletto Collection epitomizes refined Miami living. Available homes within the collection are currently priced starting at $7.5 million.
Soaring 80 stories above the heart of Brickell at 1420 South Miami Avenue, Cipriani Residences Miami is being developed by Mast Capital. The tower will comprise 397 one- to four-bedroom residences, with prices beginning at $1.7 million. Its interiors are thoughtfully crafted by London-based design studio 1508, while Arquitectonica leads the architectural vision.
Residents will enjoy access to a robust suite of amenities, including signature Cipriani dining services such as private catering, an exclusive residents-only restaurant and speakeasy, a resort-style deck with dual pools, and a luxury wellness center featuring a spa, sauna, and treatment rooms.
The project made headlines last year with Brickell’s largest-ever foundation mat pour, made possible by a $600 million construction loan secured from Mexico’s Banco Inbursa and Ascendant Capital Partners.
