World Square has officially opened to the public at Miami Worldcenter. This 20,000-square-foot outdoor space is designed to enhance the surrounding retail streets of Miami Worldcenter. Developers envision it as a central gathering area, featuring open spaces and wide, pedestrian-friendly sidewalks lined with dining, entertainment, and retail options.
The new public plaza, also referred to as a park, has been enhanced with a variety of mature trees. In January, an Apple Store opened in a stand-alone building at World Square, which has been hailed as Apple’s "most sustainable store" due to the eco-friendly materials used in its construction.
While much of the retail and restaurant space surrounding World Square is now open, some areas are still under construction.
