Santander Tower FAA Filing Reveals Height Just Shy of Brickell’s Four Seasons

Banco Santander has officially submitted its proposed tower heights to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for its upcoming high-rise in Brickell, revealing plans for a structure that will nearly match the height of the iconic 70-story Four Seasons—currently the tallest building on Brickell Avenue and the third tallest in Miami.

According to the filing received Monday, the new Santander Tower will feature a lightning rod reaching 784 feet above ground (791 feet above sea level). The tower's architectural crown is planned at 759 feet, with a bulkhead railing extending to 761 feet.

The 41-story tower is set to rise on Santander’s existing property, replacing a smaller building the bank owns. Demolition is already underway, and construction permits for the new structure are in progress.

Once completed, the tower will encompass approximately 635,000 square feet of office space, 60,000 square feet of retail, 50,000 square feet of restaurant space, a 20,000-square-foot fitness center, and 1,496 parking spaces.

The design is being led by Handel Architects in collaboration with Bernardi & Peschard Arquitectura, promising a modern addition to Brickell’s evolving skyline.
