Three Tower Cranes Installed for Construction of $185M Rainbow Village Near Wynwood
Construction is officially underway at Rainbow Village, a $185 million mixed-use development rising on county-owned land at the border of Wynwood and Overtown. Three tower cranes have now been installed at the site, marking a major milestone for the project.
Led by Housing Trust Group and designed by Zyscovich, Rainbow Village will deliver 310 affordable housing units, ranging from studios to three-bedroom layouts, with rents set between $793 and $2,634, depending on income qualifications.
The development will also include approximately 12,000 square feet of retail, over 50,000 square feet of amenities, and 442 parking spaces—all part of a vision to bring inclusive, community-oriented housing and services to the area.
Completion is anticipated in Q1 2027.
