Conceptual plans for a new supertall tower in Brickell have been revealed. The details of this multi-phase project were submitted to county planners earlier today.
The proposed tower at 1201 Brickell Bay Drive is designed to rise 1,032 feet with 54 stories. It will feature:
- 1,293,373 square feet of office space
- 212 hotel rooms along with amenities such as a health spa, fitness club, ballroom, and conference/event spaces
- Approximately 50 executive parking spaces below grade, with additional parking available across the street
Foster + Partners is listed as the design architect, with AAI Architects as the architect of record and Field Operations handling the landscape architecture. The 1201 Brickell Bay Drive tower represents the first phase of the development.
Future phases will involve properties at 1221 Brickell Avenue and 1250-1260 Brickell Bay Drive across the street. These phases may include office spaces, food and beverage establishments, retail and personal services, residential units, and additional parking, according to a representative of the developer.
Citadel is reported to be the owner of the property.
