New York-based upscale Italian restaurant Sant Ambroeus is preparing to open its first Miami location at THE FIFTH MIAMI BEACH in late 2025. Known for its modern take on Milanese cuisine, the restaurant will occupy over 7,000 square feet within the Class A+ office building located in the South of Fifth neighborhood.
Founded in Milan in 1936, Sant Ambroeus has established a loyal following with locations in New York City, Southampton, East Hampton, Palm Beach, and Aspen. Renowned for dishes such as Linguine alle Vongole, Veal Milanese, Eggplant Parmigiana, and Tagliatelle Bolognese, as well as their signature Cioccolata Calda, the restaurant has attracted celebrities like Taylor Swift, Demi Moore, and Timothée Chalamet.
The Miami location, designed by Giampiero Tagliaferri, will feature 14-foot ceilings, wraparound terraces, and an ocean-view rooftop. THE FIFTH MIAMI BEACH, developed by Sumaida + Khurana and Bizzi + Bilgili, is set to become a new landmark with its nature-inspired design and focus on sustainability.
The LEED-certified building, designed by renowned Spanish architect Alberto Campo Baeza, will offer tenants a distinctive work environment with open, flexible floor plans, floor-to-ceiling windows, and private outdoor terraces. The Sant Ambroeus space will be elegantly designed to complement the building’s modern aesthetic.
THE FIFTH MIAMI BEACH, a project by internationally recognized real estate development firms Sumaida + Khurana and Bizzi + Bilgili—a partnership between Bizzi & Partners and Serdar Bilgili—will feature 60,200 square feet of office, retail, and restaurant space. Construction began in 2022 following the Historic Preservation Board of Miami Beach’s unanimous approval, with completion expected in 2025.
