The proposed heights for two tower cranes at the Waldorf Astoria construction site have been submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration. The filings were made on July 31 and include the following proposed crane heights:
- Tower Crane #1: 1,273 feet above ground level, or 1,284 feet above sea level
- Tower Crane #2: 1,227 feet above ground level, or 1,238 feet above sea level
Construction is already underway at the site, with cranes in place and a foundation pour recently completed. The 100-story Waldorf Astoria is set to become Miami’s first supertall tower, with a final height of 1,038 feet above ground, or 1,049 feet above sea level.
