The proposed heights for two tower cranes at the Waldorf Astoria construction site have been submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration as of July 31.
The proposed heights are:
- Tower Crane #1: 1,273 feet above ground level, or 1,284 feet above sea level
- Tower Crane #2: 1,227 feet above ground level, or 1,238 feet above sea level
Construction is already underway at the site, with cranes in place and a foundation pour recently completed. The 100-story Waldorf Astoria is set to become Miami’s first supertall tower, with a permanent height of 1,038 feet above ground or 1,049 feet above sea level.
