Grand Hyatt Miami Beach Begins Vertical Construction, Marking Major Milestone
The massive Grand Hyatt Miami Beach has officially begun rising vertically, as shown in a recent image captured by a live construction camera.
With a price tag of $600 million, the project ranks among the largest hotel developments in Miami’s history. Once complete, the property will feature:
- 800 hotel rooms, including 52 suites
- Four floors dedicated to meeting and event space
- Five food and beverage venues
- A resort-style pool deck with multiple pools
- A Grand Hyatt club lounge
- A pedestrian bridge directly linking the hotel to the Miami Beach Convention Center
The development is a joint venture between Terra and Turnberry. Groundbreaking took place in May, and completion is expected in 2027.
