Black Salmon has submitted plans for a 36-story tower featuring a Diagrid Envelope design. Arquitectonica is designing the diagrid pattern, which will span from the second floor to the roof, seamlessly integrating the podium with the tower above.
The project also includes a new 5-story building for the adjacent Mission San Francisco y Santa Clara church, connected to a new parking garage. The existing church building, which dates back to 1997, will remain untouched.
Key features of the proposed tower include:
- 229 residential units
- Resident amenities
- 4,416 square feet of retail space
- 397 structured parking spaces located on levels 2 through 10
The rooftop is planned to reach 406 feet above sea level, approximately 396 feet above ground level.
A hearing before Miami’s Urban Development Review Board is scheduled for December 18.
