Rainbow Village, a $185M Development, Breaks Ground Near Wynwood
Construction has officially begun on Rainbow Village, a $185 million mixed-use development located on county-owned land at the border of Wynwood and Overtown, according to a press release.
The project will feature:
- 310 affordable housing units
- Nearly 12,000 square feet of retail space
- Over 50,000 square feet of amenity space
- 442 parking spaces
All units will have income restrictions, with studio to three-bedroom apartments priced between $793 and $2,634.
Zyscovich serves as the architect, while Housing Trust Group is leading the development. Construction is slated for completion in Q1 2027, with leasing expected to begin in late 2026.
