Amazon Signs Wynwood’s Largest Office Lease, More Expected to Follow
The developers of Wynwood Plaza have announced that Amazon has secured the largest office lease in Wynwood’s history, marking a significant milestone for the area.
The lease, covering 50,333 square feet of office space, comes just over a year after Amazon founder Jeff Bezos revealed his move to Miami.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Amazon to Wynwood Plaza and are already receiving indications that many more will follow,” said Andrew Trench, Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield.
The developers, L&L Holding Company and Oak Row Equities, expressed confidence that Wynwood Plaza will continue attracting top-tier tenants as Miami’s business sector experiences rapid growth.
Other Tenants & Project Details
In addition to Amazon, Wynwood Plaza has secured leases with:
- Claure Group – 25,400 square feet
- Weitz & Luxenberg – 18,000 square feet
The 12-story office tower will feature 266,000 square feet of Class AAA office space upon completion.
The broader Wynwood Plaza campus will also include:
- Wynwood Plaza Residences, offering 509 luxury rental apartments, nearing completion.
- A 26,000-square-foot public plaza, designed by Field Operations, the urban design team behind NYC’s High Line and Miami’s The Underline.
- 25,000 square feet of retail, featuring dining, boutiques, and convenience spots.
