In the heart of Brickell, vertical construction is ramping up as the first crane is now being installed at the site of 1428 Brickell, a 70-story luxury condo tower currently under development.
Once fully assembled, the cranes on site are expected to reach over 1,000 feet above ground, supporting construction of what will be one of Miami’s tallest residential towers.
Developed by Ytech, 1428 Brickell will rise to a permanent height of 861 feet and include 195 ultra-luxury residences. The project is also making headlines for its sustainability features — most notably, the integration of 20,000 square feet of solar panels embedded directly into its glass façade. This innovative design is expected to reduce approximately 4,700 tons of COâ‚‚ emissions annually.
A video showing the crane installation was shared on social media yesterday by Anthony Flexas, Director of Sales for 1428 Brickell, offering a first glimpse at major construction activity getting underway.
