Tree Permit Submitted for Brickell Key Site Ahead of 850-Foot Tower Development
A tree permit has been filed for the Brickell Key site designated for The Residences at The Mandarin Oriental, Miami.
Submitted on December 20, the permit is currently under review. The site is set to feature two new towers, with a master construction permit for the project also under review.
One tower will rise 66 stories (850 feet), while the second will reach 426 feet. Kohn Pedersen Fox is the architect behind the development.
The existing Mandarin Oriental hotel on the site is scheduled to close on May 31 to make way for the new construction.
