Chrome is officially headed to Wynwood, landing at one of the neighborhood’s most design-driven new developments.
Amara Wynwood has secured the first-ever outpost of Chrome, a café and lounge concept designed to transition seamlessly from a morning coffee bar into an intimate evening destination. The 1,621-square-foot venue will anchor the building’s ground-floor retail, introducing a true day-to-night social hub to 45 NE 27th Street. Construction is slated to begin shortly, with an anticipated opening in summer 2026.
Developed by PGIM Real Estate and Fifield Companies, Amara Wynwood features 210 studio, one-, and two-bedroom residences, complemented by wellness-driven amenities and more than 11,000 square feet of street-level retail. Chrome joins BODY Hot Pilates as part of a carefully curated tenant mix aimed at supporting daily lifestyle needs while injecting fresh energy into Wynwood’s evolving streetscape.
During the day, Chrome will offer thoughtfully sourced espresso, brewed coffee, and light fare. As night falls, the space transforms into a moody lounge serving wine, sake, beer, and omakase-style offerings later in the week. The interiors embrace raw materials, black leather accents, and a postmodern aesthetic, while DJs and artist-led activations ground the concept in Wynwood’s creative DNA—intentionally intimate rather than oversized.
Situated at the front door of Wynwood with a 96 Walk Score, Amara offers immediate access to the neighborhood’s murals, galleries, boutiques, and dining, along with seamless connectivity to Downtown, the Design District, Midtown, Miami Beach, and Miami International Airport. Chrome’s arrival underscores Amara’s retail vision: cultivating a collection of spaces designed to draw residents and neighbors back throughout every hour of the day.
