A developer has signed an agreement with Miami-Dade County to connect a new residential development in Brickell to the utilities system. The development will be constructed at the former Starlite Motel site, where demolition was completed last year.
According to the agreement, the following will be connected to the county’s water and sewer system:
- 517 apartments
- 9,700 square feet of full-service restaurant space
This aligns with previous filings for a 39-story, 445-foot tower on the site, which includes 506 parking spaces in a six-level garage. Gensler is the architect for the project.
The utilities agreement, dated July 15, was signed by Timothy Anderson.
