Melo Group has submitted an application for a site work permit at a downtown Miami property where it intends to build a 54-story tower.
The tower, named Downtown 6th, is currently undergoing the process for a master construction permit.
The site work permit application, filed on June 17, details $5.5 million allocated for site work, though the review process has not yet begun.
Plans for the tower were approved by the FAA and Miami’s UDRB last year, and a utilities agreement was finalized earlier this year.
Downtown 6th is designed to reach a height of 574 feet above ground level, or 587 feet above sea level. It will feature:
- 824 apartments
- 2,247 square feet of retail space
- 639 parking spaces within a concealed garage
