Newgard Development Group has revealed the selection of a general contractor for the 44-story Lofty Brickell, marking the initiation of foundation work.
The general contractor for the project has been designated as G.T. McDonald Enterprises, Inc.
The company has obtained a permit to commence the pouring of the building's foundation and is slated to commence the work on the first day of the upcoming year.
Newgard and G.T. McDonald had previously collaborated on the successful completion of the Gale Residences Fort Lauderdale Beach in 2018.
Vertical construction is projected to span 30 to 36 months from the start date. Notably, Lofty has already achieved a remarkable 94% in sales.
The tower, designed by Arquitectonica, will comprise 362 residential units available for short-term rental, complemented by various amenities, a marina, and a social club. Additionally, a rooftop Skydeck spanning 10,000 square feet will be featured.
