Plans have been submitted for two construction cranes at the Villa Miami Residences site in Edgewater.
The 56-story Villa Residences tower, which broke ground in December, is now under construction.
On March 20, an application was filed with the Federal Aviation Administration for the two cranes. According to the filing, one crane will reach 754 feet above ground, while the other will stand at 716 feet.
The tower itself is expected to have a final height of approximately 650 feet above sea level.
Villa Miami will feature a distinctive copper-clad exterior, a rooftop helipad, and a waterfront restaurant. Residents will also have access to a three-story amenity space called The Copper Club.
The project is designed by architect ODP, with Moss Construction serving as the contractor.
Development is being led by Terra (headed by David Martin), One Thousand Group (led by Kevin Venger, Louis Birdman, and Michael Konig), and Major Food Group (co-founded by Jeff Zalaznick, Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi, along with Miami partner Alex Pirez).
