Waldorf Astoria Miami Reaches 19th Floor, Glass Installation Underway
Developer PMG has announced a new construction milestone for the Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami.
The tower’s 19th floor has now been poured, with contractors also beginning work on the pool level. Meanwhile, installation of the glass facade has started on the first of the building’s nine cubes.
Once the pool level is completed, crews will move on to constructing the amenity level. The current construction pace sees one floor completed every 10 days.
When finished, the 100-story, 1,049-foot tower will be Miami’s first supertall and the tallest residential building south of New York City.
The project will feature 387 private residences and 205 guest rooms.
