The Miami Building Department has issued a tree permit for the development at 1775 Biscayne Boulevard, marking the initial step towards constructing a 42-story residential tower.
This project, led by developer LCOR, is set to feature 544 rental apartments, 10,106 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and a 628-space parking garage.
The tree permit was approved on February 21, 2025. Additionally, there is ongoing activity concerning the site work permit, master construction permit, and phased vertical permit for the tower.
The site work permit re-entered the review process on February 21, 2025, the master permit in mid-January, and the phased vertical permit on February 18, 2025.
The tower is designed to reach a height of 444 feet above ground, or 448 feet above sea level.
Coastal Construction is the contractor overseeing all permits, with ODP Architecture and Design serving as the architect.
