The Federal Aviation Administration has approved the heights of several tower cranes for the 80-story Cipriani Residences construction site in Brickell. The first crane is authorized to reach 1,000 feet above ground (1,003 feet above sea level), and the second crane is approved for 980 feet above ground (983 feet above sea level). The tower itself is planned to have a permanent height of 940 feet above ground (950 feet above sea level).
A phased foundation permit for the site was approved on April 12, following the approval of a site work permit last June. The groundbreaking ceremony took place in February.
In addition to the main tower, the property will feature two more towers of 50 and 60 stories, intended as rental apartments, which are planned to be constructed simultaneously with the taller condo tower. Completion of the Cipriani Residences is expected in 2028.
