There is activity at the site where the 41-story Hub Miami tower is planned, following the reissuance of a demolition permit a few months ago.
The partially built shell of an existing building is being demolished to make way for the new tower. Contractor signage has been put up, and new equipment and materials have arrived on-site.
The total demolition permit was reissued in February, and a permit for temporary toilets was granted in April.
Hub Miami is set to feature 306 condos and 245,000 square feet of Class A office space.
Construction permit applications for the new tower have been submitted and are currently pending corrections from the applicant, according to Miami's Building Department.
