A site work permit for the Santander Tower project in Brickell entered the review stage last week. The permit application was submitted on April 28, with the review process commencing shortly after.
A total demolition permit has already been issued, and demolition work is currently underway. Additionally, a master construction permit for the new tower is under review, with a phased vertical construction permit expected to begin its review soon.
Santander Bank is moving forward with plans to build a 41-story, 765-foot tower on the site. The development will encompass approximately 635,000 square feet of office space, 60,000 square feet of retail, 50,000 square feet for a full-service restaurant, 20,000 square feet dedicated to a fitness center, and 1,496 parking spaces.
Handel Architects and Bernardi & Peschard Arquitectura are the design teams behind the project.
