Marion in Brickell has officially reopened after undergoing a stunning $4 million renovation, signaling the next chapter for this iconic Miami hotspot. The nearly decade-old "clubstaurant" has been completely transformed with a bold, new design by Carlos Rodriguez of Escala Forma. Drawing inspiration from the legendary Studio 54, the space now features vibrant colors and playful elements. Upon entering, guests are greeted by 15 custom Murano glass chandeliers imported from Italy, while the ceiling becomes a dazzling LED-lit disco as the night unfolds.
The outdoor dining area has been expanded, offering a chic new space to enjoy Miami’s lively atmosphere. Inside, you’ll find a Dom Pérignon Champagne display and a tequila room adjacent to the main bar, which now houses a curated collection of over 300 bottles, replacing the former wine room.
Executive Chef Kylian Goussot has also revamped Marion’s menu, blending Asian and Mediterranean flavors for a fresh dining experience. Standout dishes include truffle prime beef tartare with confit egg yolk, a Kobe roll featuring torched A5 wagyu, lobster tempura with curry batter, and Chilean sea bass infused with coconut and cilantro. There’s also a prime skirt steak tagliata topped with basil, pine nut pesto, and 24-month-aged Parmesan.
For sushi lovers, Executive Sushi Chef Max Kamakura brings a unique twist with dry-aging techniques and imaginative presentations. Must-try rolls include the wagyu marrow roll with crispy shallots and chimichurri butter, and the Marion salmon roll with avocado, lemon, chives, and eel sauce.
The cocktail menu mirrors the restaurant’s Asian-Mediterranean influence, offering signature drinks like the Dirty Dancing (a tequila-mezcal blend with passionfruit and ginger) and the Wild Things (a tiki-inspired mix of rum, pineapple, and blood orange). Marion also offers an impressive Champagne selection, including Krug 2008 and Dom Pérignon P2 for those with a taste for luxury.
Marion’s makeover and refreshed menu ensure it remains a must-visit spot in Miami’s ever-evolving culinary scene.
