An affiliate of Santander Bank has finalized an agreement with Miami-Dade County to provide utilities for a new tower on Brickell Avenue. The project, named Santander Tower, is documented as of October 11.
The plans for Santander Tower include:

- 60,000 square feet of retail space
- 50,000 square feet dedicated to a full-service restaurant
- 20,000 square feet for a fitness center/gym
A demolition permit for the site has already been issued. The 41-story tower, reaching a height of 765 feet, is being designed by Handel Architects and Bernardi & Peschard Arquitectura. Additionally, it will feature 1,496 parking spaces, as noted in a previous filing with the City of Miami.
