Miami’s Building Department has issued a site work permit for the Miami Worldcenter property, where the 67-story JEM Private Residences is set to rise. The permit, valued at approximately $3 million, was issued on October 3, with Coastal Construction listed as the contractor.
This permit is separate from the master construction and phased vertical permits, which are still in process. The building will reach over 700 feet, the maximum height allowed in the area. It will feature 259 condo units on the upper floors and 530 multi-family units on the lower levels, along with ground-floor commercial space and 591 parking spaces.
Arquitectonica is the architect for the project, while Naftali Group is the developer. A groundbreaking ceremony was held earlier this year, with completion expected by 2027.
