Rosso Development, Standard International, and Midtown Development are excited to announce that the beloved Sushi Garage will be opening at the highly anticipated The Standard Residences in Midtown Miami. Created by the acclaimed Juvia Group, founded by restaurateurs Jonas and Alexandra Millán, Sushi Garage is known for its modern interpretation of traditional Japanese cuisine. This addition marks The Standard Residences' third major food and beverage announcement this year, following Solana on the rooftop, also by Juvia Group, and Rosetta Bakery Café & Privato Speakeasy. The project is currently 96% sold, with sales and marketing exclusively handled by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing. Construction has already reached its peak, with an expected completion date set for Q3 2025.
“Welcoming another beloved Juvia Group brand to the ground floor space at The Standard Residences is a significant milestone in our culinary lineup,” said Carlos Rosso, founder and CEO of Rosso Development. “Our vision was to curate a selection of restaurants that resonate with the vibrant Midtown community, and Sushi Garage’s exceptional food and great vibe will enhance the dining scene in the area.”
Renowned for its celebrated happy hour, which has become a staple of Miami’s dining culture, Sushi Garage provides an approachable yet refined experience that keeps locals and visitors coming back. The menu showcases high-quality, sustainable ingredients, expertly crafted using innovative culinary techniques. With a welcoming and laid-back atmosphere, it serves as a go-to destination for sushi lovers who appreciate both authenticity and creativity.
“Sushi Garage has always been about bringing together quality, community, and a little bit of fun, and we are excited to introduce our signature elevated neighborhood dining experience to a new audience,” said Jonas Millán. “We look forward to creating a space where guests can enjoy the best of Japanese cuisine in a relaxed, welcoming environment—every day.”
