The contractors have recently finished pouring the foundation for the 70-story Okan Tower, slated to soar 902 feet into the sky.
The developer stated yesterday that upon its completion in 2027, Okan Tower will stand as one of Miami's tallest buildings.
Okan Tower's blueprint encompasses 163 residential units, 236 short-term rental residences managed by Hilton, a 316-key Hilton Miami Bayfront Hotel, and 64,000 square feet of Class A office space.
During the foundation pour, contractors utilized 12,000 cubic yards of concrete and placed 2,300 tons of high-strength reinforcing steel.
Commencing on Friday, March 29th, the 36-hour continuous pour involved a workforce of 300 individuals operating across three shifts. The task was accomplished with the assistance of 1,200 concrete trucks.
The pour was overseen by the joint venture between general contractor Jacob Companies and Okan Construction.
The developer behind the project is Okan Group.
