A construction permit application has been submitted to Miami’s Building Department for the 56-story Edge House Miami tower in Edgewater. The application was filed on August 21, but as of this morning, the full plans are not yet under review.
The new filing lists the estimated hard construction cost at $128,562,701. The condo hotel is set to include 600 units, standing 636 feet tall across 56 stories. A pending request seeks to add Thornton Residential, LLC as the contractor for the master permit.
In August, the FAA approved a permanent building height of 637 feet above ground, or 641 feet above sea level, for the property. The architect for the project is Kobi Karp, with Peru’s Grupo T&C as the developer.
