Leading real estate developer Related Group (Related), in partnership with GTIS Partners, achieved a significant milestone this weekend with the foundation pour for the highly anticipated Baccarat Residences Miami. This monumental pour, which required over 10,000 cubic yards of concrete and 1,500 tons of reinforcing steel, has set a new record for both development firms. The Baccarat Residences Miami is poised to become the legendary French crystal brand's only stand-alone residential tower, managed by hospitality giant SH Hotels & Resorts. Remarkably, the luxury tower is already over 95% sold ahead of its expected completion in 2028.
The historic concrete pour, executed by Ceco Concrete Construction, spanned an impressive 30 hours, beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday and continuing uninterrupted until 2 a.m. on Sunday. The project was meticulously overseen by general contractor John Moriarty & Associates of Florida (JMA), with support from Florida Concrete Unlimited, Titan America, Gancedo Lumber, B&J Consulting Engineers, and NV5. "It's not every day you witness a foundation pour of this scale and magnitude. It was truly a once-or-twice-in-a-lifetime event," said Nicholas Perez, President of Related’s Condominium Division. "We are incredibly grateful to JMA, our subcontractors, and engineers for their efforts in this monumental undertaking, which required a tremendous amount of coordination and planning."
Situated on one of the last waterfront parcels along Brickell Avenue, where the Miami River meets Biscayne Bay, the 75-story tower is being crafted by some of the world’s most renowned design talents. The architecture is led by the international firm Arquitectónica, with interiors by the NYC-based Meyer Davis Studio and landscape design by Swiss architect Enzo Enea.
As the sister property to the record-breaking Baccarat Hotel & Residences NYC, the Brickell tower will comprise 355 residences, including just eight exclusive penthouses. The property has experienced remarkable sales success and is now 95% sold, with select premium residences still available.
