Polo Icon Nacho Figueras Purchases Residence at Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences
Terra, led by David Martin, and Lion Development, led by Michael Simkins, announced that internationally acclaimed Argentine polo player, model, and philanthropist Nacho Figueras, along with his son Hilario Figueras, have signed a contract at Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences — the first residential building from Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, located steps from the Miami Design District and Midtown.
Figueras purchased Residence 3505, a 2,951-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath home priced at $3,116,000. The residence, which Hilario will use as a pied-à-terre, features a private elevator and a 968-square-foot terrace with sweeping views of Wynwood and the Miami skyline. Douglas Elliman is exclusively handling sales for the project, with Nicole Cardona of Douglas Elliman representing the transaction.
“Hilario brought this opportunity to me, and having long admired Jean-Georges and Terra’s renowned developments, it was one we couldn’t pass up,” said Nacho Figueras. “Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences offers everything polo players like us could ask for – a home where every detail is handled, blending lifestyle, services, and effortless living.”
Hilario Figueras added: “The Design District’s walkability, elegance, and vibrant culture, combined with Miami’s rise as a hub for health and wellness, make this the perfect home. When visiting Jean-Georges’ Four Twenty Five in New York, the attention to detail, service, and sophistication confirmed this new home was the right choice.”
Designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Yabu Pushelberg, the 48-story tower will feature 329 condominium residences, 27,500 square feet of ground-floor retail, and more than 41,000 square feet of amenities across five floors, including a rooftop pool, private dining, a resident-only restaurant and bar, wellness spaces, and a curated mix of Jean-Georges’ signature culinary experiences.
“We look forward to welcoming Nacho and Hilario to the Miami Tropic community,” said David Martin, CEO of Terra. “In partnership with Jean-Georges, we’re creating more than a residence. We’re shaping an immersive lifestyle defined by culinary excellence, culture, and elevated service.”
Located at the gateway between Midtown, the Design District, and Wynwood, Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences offers residents immediate access to Miami’s luxury retail, dining, arts, and cultural destinations.
