The $2 billion Bahia Mar project aims to transform Fort Lauderdale into a Mini Monaco

The St. Regis Resort and Residences, Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale, is set to redefine coastal luxury living in Florida. This ambitious $2 billion project, developed by Related Group, Tate Capital, and Rok Acquisitions in collaboration with Marriott International, will transform the Bahia Mar Yachting Center—long a staple venue for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS)—into a world-class destination.

Spanning 40 acres, the development will unfold in two phases, reimagining the marina into a Monaco-inspired locale with branded residential towers, a St. Regis hotel, a private beach club, and an array of upscale dining and retail options. Phase one features 160 luxury condominiums across two 23-story towers, as well as exclusive resort residences atop the hotel. Sales for The St. Regis Residences, Bahia Mar, Fort Lauderdale, are currently underway.

The architectural vision is led by the renowned firm Arquitectonica, with interiors crafted by London’s Tara Bernerd & Partners. The master plan includes 88,000 square feet of waterfront commercial space, encompassing restaurants, marina docking, and a 25-foot-wide promenade along the Intracoastal Waterway. The marina will cater to yachts up to 350 feet, while the residences—spanning three to four bedrooms and 2,600 to 3,550 square feet—offer sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, Intracoastal Waterway, and Fort Lauderdale skyline.

Penthouses provide even more expansive spaces and exclusive amenities such as private elevator foyers, open-plan living areas, and glass-wrapped terraces.

“Bahia Mar has long attracted international yachting enthusiasts, but its potential has yet to be fully realized,” said Jorge M. Pérez, Chairman and CEO of Related Group. “Our vision combines unparalleled residential, hospitality, and lifestyle offerings suited to this exceptional location, establishing Fort Lauderdale as a luxury destination.”

Each residential tower will feature 17,000 square feet of amenities in line with St. Regis’ luxury standards, including a spa, fitness center, salon, children’s playroom, and more. Outdoor facilities include a private pool, sports simulators, pickleball court, and summer kitchens. Additional services for residents include a 24/7 lobby, valet and self-parking, climate-controlled storage, and a dedicated app.

Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is exclusively handling sales, with condominium prices starting at $4.4 million and hotel residences at $2 million.
