The Miami Building Department has given the green light for a site work permit for the Edgewater Collective project located at 1900 Biscayne.
According to records, the site work permit was approved on January 17; however, as of this morning, it has not yet been issued. The permit application was initially submitted in June 2023, along with the submission of plans during the same month.
The site work permit lists Balfour Beatty as the contractor.
Another permit for the vertical construction of two 42-story towers containing a total of 872 residential units is still under review. As of January 24, it has entered its fourth review cycle.
Opposite the mentioned location, the developer is concurrently constructing 2000 Biscayne, a 36-story tower featuring 420 apartments. PTM Partners is leading the development.
