Miami's Urban Development Review Board Receives Proposal for "Two Riverside" Residential Tower in Brickell
Plans have been submitted to Miami's Urban Development Review Board for a residential tower named "Two Riverside" in the Brickell area. The proposed tower is set to soar to 59 stories, reaching a height of 730 feet above ground and 732 feet above sea level. The project includes:
· 169 residential units
· 1,090 square feet of ground floor retail space
· No new parking spaces (parking will be available at Lofty Brickell, located adjacent to the project)
The development is intended to be a distinctive addition, with a focus on activating the riverfront through a public riverwalk and ground-floor commercial space, as previously communicated by the developer to the Miami River Commission.
Brandon Haw Architecture serves as the design architect, with ODP fulfilling the role of the architect of record. The project team also includes Urban Robot (landscape architect), DeSimone (structural engineer), Cosentini (MEP/FP engineer), SLS Consulting (life safety consultant), and Kimley Horn (civil engineer).
Newgard Group is the developer behind this project, and the UDRB hearing is scheduled for November 15.
